Please guys I'd like to know the minimum amount you think one needs to start a small car dealership in Lagos and if you've got any advice you can kindly drop it.

I'll skip the low end and say medium to high end sir. It's a gradual process

Other than logistical cost, safe to have a start up capital of between N20 - N30 Million (stock capital).....

You are suggesting starting up a dealership with about 10 cars in inventory, but he need to be able to sell one car at profit first to know if he has the zeal to sell cars

If he waits to sell one and turnover profit + capital...... Is he running a going concern or cowboy showroom?

He would have to learn the ropes, on the logistics involved in selling vehicles or becoming an apprentice to learn the tricks of survival.

If he is not too greedy and sincere in all his dealings, he could make a success of it........

10 cars as start up stock, is a good inventory to start up with.

He plans his further purchase, based on movement of stock......

He's going towards doom. If he attempts starting it with such an amount. Oga start small with apprenticeship to learn the trade.. before putting your money in it
