Nollywood Veteran, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde went to Ghana over the weekend for an award ceremony. While in the West African state, she witnessed growth in their economy and decided to come on IG to ask some questions.

Read below
Okay... So Economists , come and analyze oh... this Amongst other things was quite alarming on my trip to Ghana.
Hmm... I changed N10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) and it was only worth .....
C120 ( One hundred and twenty cedis)
Not C1,200 and certainly not 12,000 cedis but a mere 120 cedis!!!

1 dollar in ghana is 4.8 cedis !
#Ghanamustgo and they have Gone, are they moving faster than us?

I don’t want to talk about the airport , Tubaba has already talked about that but I forgot both my phones while signing the immigration cards, about 10mins later, it was announced to pick them up at guest services! Ha!
#GiantofAfrica ? #Getbusy #Getbusy #Getbusy huh. Abi? I’m I missing something?

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is deceiving Nigerians who have not been to Ghana before. You can spend 5,000 cedis which is almost Equivalent to 370,000 naira within one week without seeing what you brought with the money. Ghana cedis is the most useless currency in Africa. Everything is very expensive over there.

do you know how fast you cn earn 5,000 Cedis ?
its called Standard of living and cost of living
Is the American dollar the most useless currency in the world because 100 dollars in USA can buy you very little but in both Ghana and Nigeria
it can get you to Heaven?

Don't be deceived i have so many friends that live in Ghana i normally visit them every year and spend like one to two months. Things are very expensive in Ghana ask any Nigeria living in Ghana they will tell you the truth. Salary in Ghana is too poor. people that work in fast food their salary is between 150 to 200 cedis per month. In Ghana the lowest amount you can give police for road is 10 cedis which is almost 750 naira but

in Nigeria police still dey collect 50 Naira. Fuel price in Ghana is 5 cedis per a liter which is almost 380 Naira. Ghana currency is worthless believe me. whenever i go to fast food to eat i will dash the security person working there 5 cedis which is about 370 naira the person will not be happy because the money is not big over there. if you give security person working in a fast food in Nigeria 370 naira the person will never forget you in his life.

Ghana currency is not worthless
Ghana cost of living is very high
Ghana standard of living is the highest in West Africa

Of course any Nigerian holding a naira will find it difficult in Ghana because when your naira is exchanged to cedis you'll end up with very little money and it wont last you long because things are expensive here.
No working Ghanaian earn less than 600 cedis and that's a fact because im a Ghanaian myself and i live in Ghana.

anytime i come to Nigeria
just a 1000 cedis is all i need
cos its too cheap there
