Atiku Reacts As Super Falcons Qualify For AWCON Finals by Amagite(op): 9:02pm On Nov 27, 2018

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have qualified for the finals of the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana, and PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has said he'd be supporting them to win the cup.

"The Super Falcons are in the finals! I will be supporting them to win the cup. -AA #AWCON2018" he tweeted.

Super Falcons edged past the Cameroonian team 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out after 120 minutes of play.

With this result, Nigeria has qualified for the 2019 World Cup.

It was a tense 120 minutes of play, which resulted in nil goals for either side, until the penalty shoot-out, which the ladies from Cameroon lost by missing two shots.
