To be honest, the stylist tried... And you can't compare the hair of a mixed lady to just normal African Afro hair, reason it looks finer on the First Lady's head because her hair is softer, darker and longer. L

The stylist tried for a hair that isn't retouched. If she had relaxed her hair, it would have been smoother and darker. Also, shape of head different.
