Reports coming in from Nonwa of Tai Local Government Area, the training centre for newly employed members of the Rivers State Neighbourhood Corp, is to the effect that hundreds of Soldiers of the Nigerian Army have shut down the training camp based on “orders from above.”

The Neighbourhood Safety Corp, which is also operational in Lagos State, was set up by the Rivers State Government to assist the security agencies in the State manage security issues as well as provide jobs for Rivers people.

The Federal Government’s move to shut it down is not only illegal, it negates all legitimate efforts to promote peace and security in Rivers State and also provide jobs for Nigerians, most of whom have been left jobless by the bad economic policies of the APC led Government.

Lagos State recruited their own Neighborhood Safety and Security Watch, nobody make any noise or try to stop them. Now Rivers State, a state in the Niger Delta that feeds the nation is trying to do the same thing but they are about being stop. You guys are looking for trouble and trouble you will get
