This is not the best of times for Nigerians living and doing busines in Ghana and other member countries of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS.

This is because they are being allegedly repatriated on the flimsy excuse of illegal stay, Cyber Crime and Prostitution. The ECOWAS protocol allows indigenes of member countries of the sub-regional body to stay in another member’s country for at least 90 days , without documents.

It is also enunciated that you respect the laws of your host country. If you think you can regard your country of residence as a zoo, then you will be treated like a poo.

I believe any Person who has disregarded the the laws of a host country should be taken to court than taking the extreme action of repatriation which could provoke retaliation

Some Nigerians in Ghana have overstayed for a long time and are not discreet enough to go about their business without being a nuisance to most of the people around them.

Every country has its laws. Not all avails you the priviledge of a court appearance

Do you mean even when there is a possibility that they could have been wrongly accused and with no investigations carried out they send them out. This is like declaring war on Nigeria.

Not necessarily declaring war on Nigeria. In the mist of all this there are still Nigerians who are in good standing with the authorities in same country.
