I am seeing openings the 90s boxers would have tried to enter but these ones just seemed to be okay with grabbing points and running the clock down

hevayweight division has almost always consisted of head hunters as far as i can remember. Holyfield, Lennox, and both Klitschkos, off the top of my head, are examples of boxers from that era who spennt almost their entire careers hiding behind the jab.

You want combinations and punches in bunches, drop down to cruiser and below

I grew up watching Mike Tyson and almost all his fights wins or losses ended in a knockout. It was Holyfield vs Lennox they had to do twice and both times was on points. That was when Heavyweight started losing the glamor for me

And the Mayweather type fight too was not just it
