A barrister identified as Mr. Adeola Adebayo has been killed by kidnappers after paying N3 million ransom.

Mr. Adeola who was the secretary of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikole branch in Ekiti state,  was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Saturday, 17 November 2018 at Erio, a town in the Ekiti. 

According to reports, Adeola was driving from Osogbo, Osun capital with his wife and parents where they attended a social event when he was stopped and kidnapped.

His death has been announced in a press statement released by the Secretary of NBA Ikere Ekiti branch, Mr. Michael Afolayan.

Learned Seniors, Colleagues, and Fellow Branch Secretaries.

With a saddened heart, I regret to inform this body that the decomposed body of our Brother Secretary of Ikole Ekiti Branch, Adeola Adebayo, who was kidnapped 15 days ago was found today having been killed by his abductors days ago.

While appreciating this Body for your prayers and well-wishes throughout our travail on his abduction, we urge you to continue to pray for the Bar in Ekiti, wife, child, siblings, and the parents of our departed colleague for the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

May we also see this unfortunate event as opportunity to call for responsible governance towards ensuring security of lives and properties at all levels in Nigeria. I pray that God in His infinite Mercy will put a stop to this kind of happenings in our midst. God bless you all.

THEY HOWEVER CONFIRM HE EXISTED AND IN FACT STILL EXISTS AS THE RESURRECTED, ASCENDED AND GLORIFIED LORD! your calendar says we are in 2018 AD (anno domini - in the year of the Lord) meaning 2,018 after the birth of Jesus. There is such a thing known as historical evidence. Those who wrote these things WERE NEVER CHRISTIANS. They were ancient historians who lived AROUND THE TIME OF christ and whose works are highly regarded by even secular modern day historians and constitute veritable source of ancient history. They wrote not only about Jesus but other notable events of those days. Are you also aware of the great persecution of christians in those days by the roman empire when they were thrown to wild beasts for entertainment in the amphi-theatre? This is adequately recorded in history. Please do your own research with secular historical documents and archaeology. The History Channel should have materials on the internet that you can examine

Do you know that Daniel who lived about 600 years before the birth of christ actually prophesied the exact year that christ would reveal himself to the, world. Please do some research on the prophecy referred to as "THE SEVENTY WEEKS OF DANIEL". I have done extensive research on prophecies about jesus, some as old as 1,000 years which he fulfilled to the letter and they actually form the basis of my belief in christ as a divine being. No one could have fulfilled all those ancient prophecies to the letter except the Christ himself. Quod Erat Demonstrandum (Q.E.D).

Then we might as well say that alexander the great of greece never existed, neither did pharaoh ramses of egypt since both lived much earlier than christ and we have only written history of ancient historians to prove it which is accepted by professors and intellectuals just like all modern historians accept that Jesus existed based on historical records. But of course, according to you, everyone is wrong and i will never be able to convince you because i dont have a time machine. But wait.. There's one thing though... Jesus can reveal himself. those great Kings you mentioned are what I call something that is being realistic they were public figures during their lifetime but jesus christ though I love his teaching facts about him was a guessing spree it's like picking up a drop of sand in the desert am no doubting his existence as a person but am doubting the story that comes alongs with him the four gospel writers were not present during the lifetime of jesus christ go check the records the story of jesus came out after the Romans invaded Jerusalem
