Who cares undecidedWhat is your definition of decent? The cloth is okay. She went for a function.
if you could ascribe that cloth to decency, then I have nothing else to say.
this is a Muslim country where the basic rule is Sharia, how will someone been trying to seduce other men all in the name of civilization and she feels she is expressing herself. well I guess you would dress similarly or even worse.

Why shouldn't there be freedom of expression in France? Is it not a democracy accompanied by liberalism and secularism? angry
Exactly the same reason there should be freedom of expression in Egypt or Saudi Arabia.

What are you saying? Who told you democracy is the only system of government? Other countries have their systems of government, everyone has the choice to choose whatever suits their society.

Are you alright? Why are your talking off point?

We are talking about hypocrites that supports Egypt and other Islamic countries that criminalise the way a woman chooses to dress, (apart from other oppressive laws against women), and at the same time condemn France for banning the way some other women chooses to dress (burka or hijab ), and you are lecturing about democracy and other systems of government.

Are you sensible at all? Saudi can't allow it because it's contradictory to its system of government and way of life. France on the other hand claims to be a democracy yet, it trumps on the rights of others and this is contradictory to democracy which is known to be accompanied by liberalism and secularism. France is democratically intolerant, you need to study about different systems of government and cultures of people all around the world. Stop displaying ignorance!

You are very convoluted. What has dress code has to do with system of government? All systems of governments are run by laws, in an autocratic system like Saudi Arabia, the laws are made by one man or very few individuals, but in a democracy laws are made by a national assembly. I wonder where you get the idea that democracy equates to liberalism and secularism, the US has been a democracy for over 300 years, for over 85% of that period the country was neither liberal nor secular. South Africa was a democracy for close to a hundred years, for most of that time it was anything but liberal. Even Nazi Germany was a democracy.
On the other hand Dubai in UAE does not impose burkas or hijabs on women, women are seen dressing like any other European capital.
Turkey is also another Islamic country that does not impose strict dress codes on women.

Indonesia and Pakistan are democracies but have blasphemy laws.

You are arguing blindly to justify your contradictory hypocritical standing of supporting imposing dress code in one country and condemning the imposition of dress code (you do not like) in another country.
