Hello house, I commend the good work you guys are doing here cc the OP.
Please assist me. I bought a new charger from a road side hawker for my iPhone 6 on Thursday . the first thing I noticed was that the charger charges faster than normal. Normally When my phone is flat and plugged to power the battery logo comes and takes minutes before the booting apple logo appears . But this new charger didn't take such time, when I plug it the battery logo comes and the apple logo follows almost gaplessly. And before I finish brushing my teeth my battery hits 50% . On Thursday I left the phone charging all night, woke up in the morning and my phone is dead. Dead as in not booting, not charging, nothing at all. I tried every thing , home button and power button stuff but no way. I took it to a repairman who said it was the u2 IC, he worked on it all day but no way, he said he needed more time, but I was running out of patience, I took the phone to another repairman and he said the first guy has tampered / messed with the panel so he can't fix it.
Pls any suggestion / Help. Pls.

sorry bro for this mess 2 people have already messed with it. First of all only iPhone 8,8+ , iPhone X and Xmas and up are the only iphone products that supports fast charging. I blieve the charger u bought doesn’t have a regulator and those kind of chargers are bad. It’s just like connecting wire to socket and plug it in ur phone the full current was just flowing into ur phone without regulation. The first thing the first guy should have done is to change battery and then try connecting another charger with more stable charger to know if it will power up and finally check if the panel is receiving current. If the panel is not recieving current it means the issue is not from panel but if panel is receiving current then that’s when he will talk about working on the panel. I will like to know if used soldering iron on the panel?

okay since he has change the battery and it’s still not coming on I will suggest he checks and make sure the charging port is supplying current to the panel and the battery. It was most likely used. Because the u2 ic was removed and put back, another ic he called booting ic was worked on.i can't open the phone now to verify but my assumption was based on what the first repairman told me .

It was not the battery, my own battery was drained but he put a new battery and the phone still cannot boot instead the new battery was drained too.
I was there when he removed my battery and boosted it, the battery bosst was successful but the phone could not boot, just drained the battery again when he was attempting to boot it.

Phone Information
Model: iPhone 6s

I have lots of data on this phone

Problem Symptoms
Press power button, Apple logo appears with white background for 2minutes then screen goes black .
If left alone, process will repeat for about 10 minutes before the cycle breaks and the screen stays dimly backlit for hours.
After a few hours the dimly backlit screen will drain the battery and phone will shut off.
Once plugged in, phone will recharge and boot back up to start the whole thing over again.

Problem Origin
Unexplainable , Phone was charged to 18% and unpluged, after a while phone was checked and it was off, It never booted again

Troubleshooting
First thing I tried was replacing the battery, phone will power on, show logo for a few minutes then go blank. (BATTERY REPLACEMENT DIDN'T FIX IT)
Tried starting with the camera assembly completely disconnected and nothing changed.
Tried starting with nothing but LCD screen connected (no digitizer, no front assembly, no home button) and nothing changed.
Disconnected battery and tried starting while plugged in to charger. Phone got stuck in reboot cycle again as if nothing changed with battery out.
Let battery completely die until phone indicating that it needs to be plugged in to charge. Then I left it on the charger overnight. It recharged, powered back up and loop started again.
Took phone apart down to logic board to see if something is disconnected and brushed all connectors before I reassembled. No change.

Updated iTunes to try and flash or restore the phone (i have the latest ipsw flash file) then plugged in my phone to see if I can update. As the process starts phone reboots and gets stuck in loop again. iTunes says I should do a restore.
Tried manual firmware update by holding shift while clicking "Update" in iTunes and used the latest firmware file which I had already downloaded. As soon as update process starts phone reboots and gets stuck in loop again.
Started restore process in iTunes acknowledging that it will wipe all my data. As soon as restore process starts phone reboots and gets stuck in loop again.
I've used Dfu mode and even recovery to restore the phone, But eachtime the process want's to load the firmware into the phone, it will go off.
I've tried itunes, 3utools e.t.c

I don't think it's a software issue anymore. Most techs I talk to are quite confused after i explain the things i've done to get it fixed up.

A techie suggested Tristar ic replacement (usb ic), some said booting ic


any tip here would be welcomed
