Hello guys, please I need info on how this credit card stuff works. Let's say you want to withdraw cash from your credit card and will be paying back in some days time. Will the interest be charged daily. Cos someone was saying TD bank charges $22.99 daily until you finish paying back. How true? |

mmaryam: Hi, there are many wonderful folks here giving back and I'm encouraged you find us all worthwhile in what we do here. Per a bridging program for supply chain occupation in Alberta, there quite a few I found online like these Diploma offered by University of Alberta, https://www.ualberta.ca/extension/continuing-education/programs/business-and-leadership/supply-management-training SCMP Designation with SCMA Alberta, http://scma.com/ab/education-training-programs/scmp-designation-program Diploma from Mount Royal University, https://www.mtroyal.ca/ProgramsCourses/ContinuingEducation/businesstraining/supplychain/ Alberta Employment and Training Services Directory has programs and services to help workers find and keep jobs, get training and adapt to the changing labour market. You can get detailed info on government supported programs for each city in Alberta here, https://www.alberta.ca/employment-training-services-directory.aspx Of course there would be many more resources out there but I hope these help you out as a start, all the best. 18 Likes 12 Shares |

Blackbuddy: @blackbuddy Thank you so very much. I finally looked at all the links and the very last one is all I’ve been looking for as per short bridging programs. Will apply for diploma once I’m able to get a job. @blackbuddy God bless you. Tell your wife she’s the luckiest and your children the most fortunate. seunlara: Hi, to add to what has already been shared with you, you can go here for the Parent Guide to Licensed Child Care in Ottawa, https://documents.ottawa.ca/sites/default/files/documents/parent_guide_en_May%202018.pdf You can also get help with your child care costs at this link, https://ottawa.ca/en/residents/social-services/childrens-services/get-help-your-child-care-costs For fashion design business, you may want to align with the Nigerian/African network/community in Ottawa. Find and join the usual WhatsApp groups, Nigerian professionals groups, church/mosques so you know how big the potential market is and to get referrals. If people know you and refer you, your business can grow and you are aware of the trends your clients want. If you're looking at Western fashion, then you should probably consider a short course to get you up to speed and then know how to get the necessary licensing/registration done before you open shop. Check with the immigrant assistance agencies close to you like YMCA or YWCA and OCISO, https://ociso.org/employment/ For information on general Bridge Training Programs in Ontario, check here and see what you can find to help you on your way, http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_BRIDGE_GENERAL.html Hope these point you in a good direction. 18 Likes 13 Shares |

Ifywhyteman: Try to avoid withdrawing cash from your credit card as much as possible. Withdrawal and transfer. Just use for payments online and in store. And yes cash transactions on the credit card attract interest from the first day. For general info see this link https://moneyfacts.co.uk/guides/credit-cards/beware-of-credit-card-cash-advances/ Also contact your card provider for more accurate info as regards your particular card. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Ifywhyteman: Please don’t use your credit card for cash transactions as the interest accumulates daily until you pay in full. It’s not $22.99 but 22.99% on the amount (average daily balance actually) and there’s also a flat fee for cash advances. Not worth it pls, use a debit card for cash transactions 9 Likes 1 Share |

hey... finally someone coming to Kitchener. lol!. Sorry I don't know a reliable response to your question. Maybe you can call the cab company you want to book from and explain the wahalla with timing, or you give them 1 hour later, say.. you will land at 7am, tell them to come at 8am or 8:30.. to give you time to sort out all landing wahalla.. incase you get searched or your flight is delayed. rainazoe: 2 Likes |

Beauideal: Please don’t follow them say them say, be positive you will get a job. I don’t know anything about schooling here as I have only done a licensing certification and not a school program here and didn’t have difficulties getting a job either (before the license).I also don’t know the province you’re landing in plus the demand in your field but other people here with more information/experience will respond to you 4 Likes 1 Share |

rainazoe: Your best bet will be Greyhound bus on arrival, you can check their schedule online and know what works best for you. You may also consider Uber as an option as it will be readily available on arrival and finally, you may also never go wrong with flat rate airport taxis from the to your destination. I do hope that helps 1 Like |
