Daily Nightmare On Nnpc Junction Ejigbo Lagos

I don't if this is the right section to post this, this is the state of nnpc junction Ejigbo on Ikotun-Isolo road. I really dont understand why any government will allow its people live through hell like this.

People spend countless hours morning, afternoon and night on this road because of a bad portion that is less than 50qm right in front of the Ejigbo local government office. It really painfull, i see school kids take off their uniforms in their school bus because of the heat while toddlers among them cry continiously.

I am using this medium to reach out to the lagos state government. Please fix this road, we can go into the festive season like this.

Both sides of the road before the junction is totally locked down while the 3rd end joins the traffic at night

God bless you @OP for this post.
What I don't always understand is - why is it that, it is at the worst parts of our roads in Lagos (Nigeria) that we have the presence of Government Agencies like LASTMA, FRSC, POLICE, CUSTOMS, IMMIGRATION etc. and yet nothing happens. Is it that these guys don't report the disgraceful state of the roads to their bosses or the Government?
This is why I will never stop for any Road Safety Corp along Mile2-Badagry-Seme road, because there is nothing 'safety' on that road amongst others.

My brother the funny thing is, this terrible portion of the road is right in front of Ejigbo Local Government Council. It's normaIly worse during the rush hour. We go through hell going and coming back from work here everyday. Sometimes, tankers conveying petroleum products from NNPC Depot will get stuck and people starts trekking. I don't know why the government is heartless and wicked to her people

I so much hate this road! What surprises me most is no matter how hot the sun burns, the water on that road never dries.

What could be the reason?

There's no day I don't go through that road and I sometimes feel pity not only to myself but to others because of their daily suffering due to the wickedness of their leaders.

Passing through that spot as from 7pm upwards is like living in hell

The drainage system needs to be redesigned but those guys know what to do but won't do it. What about Egbe bridge towards the end of that road? How can such a small bridge, built in the seventies with a single lane, still being used by such a huge number of commuters passing through there everyday? If a vehicle develops fault on that bridge then everyone would sleep on the road... Spits on Nigerian government

This road has been an issue since the 90s. I remember how much of a nightmare it is getting to school via that road between 1993 - 1998 sad to hear that little progress has been made and the situation is even now worse.

If you open a thread, will you die? OP is expressing a worry that concerns him, so you better express that which concerns you. Besides, you really think someone who stays at Ejigbo/Ikotun knows where Ilaje bus stop is?

A pure shame to behold every morning. You see a federal road being abandoned in full glare thereby risking lives and properties. It's a big shame, a very big one to say.
Heap of big limestone boulders were dumped on that useless road. Tires busting and vehicles galloping everyday. Nonchalant government seats back and doesn't seem to be bothered.

We have failed as a country!
