Prince Owabie from Rumueperikom community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State was arrested by the Rivers state Police command for allegedly killing and burying his pregnant girlfriend inside his apartment.

According to reports, he killed Better Ozige Nwabueze on Sunday and buried her inside his one-room apartment around Wimpy Junction, by Ikwerre Road in Portharcourt. He was arrested on Tuesday, by policemen.

The suspect told some of his friends what he did and they alerted the police who moved in and arrested him. He was taken to the State Criminal Investigative and Intelligence Department (SCIID). At the time of the report, the body of the slain pregnant lady has not been exhumed from the suspect’s apartment.

Pathetic! Is rotting in jail better? I've always advised people with anger issues to walk away when it starts accumulating. Though I don't know the reason he killed her. And to make matters worse, he buried her inside his room? Ah! Where is humanity heading?
