Lately, we've been seeing a lot of leaks of the supposed Samsung Infinity-O screen — the display that is supposedly going to be on the Galaxy S10. According to patents and leaksters, Samsung will keep making phones that have no cutout notch at the top of the screen.

Well... according to the leaks, the company still insists on reducing its future phones' bezels, though. And that selfie camera needs to go somewhere... And this is what puts the O in Infinity-O. It seems Samsung is going to have a teeny, tiny hole in the top-left of its display, which will house the vital front-facing camera.

Now... a lot of people out there hate “The Notch” — the display cutout that some manufacturers put at the top of the phone in order to house a speaker and the front-facing phone sensors. But... is a hole in the screen better than a notch?

Well, it's all up to personal taste. So, let us know — what do you think?

I'd prefer all me sensors on the bezel not this rubbish although I like how the xiaomi mi mix 3 handles this

Camera hole far better. Me hate notch with passion. Without the two is the best.

Screen hole is better but I prefer ZTE Nubia X dual screen style over hole and the ugly notch.

Huawei will also use this hole in their upcoming nova 4, well i will prefer it to the notch, but what about those sensors that are always at the front

they are proximity sensors. Their presence means the phone can detect, among other things, when the user is holding the device up to their face to make a call. an optical sensors is use with ultrasonic sensors it's a resounding no. In fact, if the device uses ultrasonics, the tech can be built right into the audio components of the speaker, meaning it wouldn't need any additional sensors at all. And it would be even more accurate.

Oppo amazed me by introducing it but with the way this my S7 fell repeatedly, the phone slips out of pocket like its lubricated. I just want to change the glass, put my 2 SIMs there and use my data line in my S10. Jeje living.

Daaaaaaaaamn, see phone. I just assumed it was normal oppo pop up camera. Thanks for the correction. This people want to finish our money. My S7 is outdated already, I won't mind having this as a second phone. Problem is, can it be serviced?

I love the hole very much so thank you. The notch is one ugly chin damn. don't know how anybody can like something like that.

Yup... the thing is once it gets faulty, you have to order its part online since they dont have office yet in Nigeria. There are good engineers here in Nigeria, they can learn from ifixit.com

Both are good but I don't like the that shows the flashlight on the screen it looks creepy n weird
