Yes na, they've not started issuing the main identity Card.

may be they want to use that to verify some data's about you. if d data u put in ur NIMC is different from what you put on your application data..........

It depends on when and where you registered for the National Identity card. I did mine in 2014 in Abuja and after 3months the original came out and it will expire next year

bro thanks for the info but be reminded that NIMC is not the only means of identification. I doubt if present ur International ID or driving license u will be denied. For safety purpose everyone should get his or hers sha

When the original card is issued to you it will carry an expiry date. It's 5yrs validity period.

Only FRSC can provide such info not Applicants. Let us see d list b4 we start discussing wot will be required 4 camp.

The card having expiry date is because of it's usage as debit card. The NIN itself doesn't expire. So implication that it is the Debit card function expiring and not the NIN itself
