Personally i see no difference between "notch" and "hole in the screen" they both look same to me. It would have been better if OP defined both terms in his/her write up for us to know their differences and how they function. As far as the phones still do their basic functions who cares?

Most of the blogging in Nigeria leaves the readers missing out on a lot of information. It's hard to see detailed well researched information in most blogs. Blogging is work, most think it's just an easy means to make money.

I think Tecno has done a good job upgrading its phones, they now appear stronger with more functionality.

Manufacturers like Iphones, Samsung, LG, Google Pixel have target market! They don't just sell phones. So there are mobile phones for common man. The likes of Infinix, Tecno, itel and lots more.

Someone once said if you really want to collect people's money, you trade on either their ignorance or vanity.

Ignorance: Most phones have the same specifications (engine) but different bodies (appearance). Imagine paying more for a product for having its wrap changed.

Vanity: Some people are freaks for class consciousness. They feel they belong to the class of elites and creme de la creme of the society by wielding certain devices.

Some years back, I was in the wild goose chase changing my phone every time because I was looking for the best. I didn't enjoy the experience though.

I dont agree with No1 having a good design on a phone is worth it, it makes u love the device and the device "comes alive" to ur eyes whenever u hold it, The issue should be how much u are willing to pay to change a good device with a poor look for one with a better look
