Is there any university in Nigeria where I can study writing as a course of study or if there is any other related courses from the department of Arts

You can study "English language and literature" or in some universities "Literary Studies", in your 300 level you will be taught Creative Writing. But there will be some other introductory courses where you will be taught other courses that rotates around writing.

Yes thank you for that but I'm really looking for something different like fictional writing
