My Gionee x1s battery is nothing to write home about. I changed the battery but it's still the same. It doesn't charge at all and it's swollen now. I have to plug it to charger anytime I want to use it.

What can I do?

We have a reasonable reason why we don't involve in the upgrade of our operating system. Actually this is done to optimise the user experience. For instance, a device built on Android 7.0 and optimised for that Android version when upgrade to Android 8.0 surely would result in some lapse in the general operation. First of all it would reduce the battery life, the processor speed. Etc this is because the device was built on Android 7.0. This is a point Gionee has taken into consideration.

I've got a problem with my GIONEE A1 lite. Google based apps aren't opening, such as play store, chrome browser and map. How do I sort it out?

Same with my own.... Gionee X1S. I bought in April this year and the battery is nothing to write home about.
I took it to the gionee care center in my area (Warri) and they promised to fix it in two weeks time. After two weeks of waiting in vain, they decided to send it to Lagos and pleaded with me to wait for another two weeks which I did
After waiting for more than two weeks without hearing from them, I decided to call them today and the reply I got was shocking.... "Your phone was not fixed due to unavailability of battery " That was the answer I got after waiting for like 6 weeks plus.
?
GIONEE! GIONEE!! WHAT CAN I DO?
