This plan will require about N100bn annually in dredging and construction of barge/lighter jetties and ferry terminals for the next three years but it can triple Lagos State GDP.
50% of trailers and toppers will disappear from the roads. You could even link lighter/barge terminals to rail stations.

I voted for this man in 2007 and regretted doing so despite the fact that he lost. I expected him to be a vibrant opposition and make the ruling party stand on their toes. But bros went to sleep and would wait for the time when the ruling party has changed candidate. Lagosians are not fools. If you are not there for us when the voice of a vibrant opposition could have helped, you definitely can't be our saviour even if voted.

Exactly my plight with this man. His case is like that of a good bride but bad in-laws. He shut himself in the leg by joining PDP. He should have remained in the party he was in 2007 and be vibrant. But he is hungry and desperate for power, reason he left the Tinubu camp in the first place.

Opening up water transport is in the plan of the current 'power holders' evident in the jetty commissioned in Ikorodu, Falomo, and that of Bariga and Iyana oworo under construction. But i believe it was slowed down by Ambode. He sidelined the Lagos master plan, implementing his own 'hidden agenda'.

Water and rail will bring so much relief to all Lagosians.
