UDOM EMMANUEL SET TO BE DECORATED AS
BEST PERFORMING GOVERNOR IN NIGERIA
 
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel will ‪on Sunday, December 16, 2018‬, be decorated and inducted into the HoG Hall of Fame as the Overall Best Performing Governor in Nigeria by the Ooni of Ife, Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
 
A statement by the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Udoh indicates that the organizers are honouring the Governor during their Pre-20th Democracy Dinner at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos “in recognition of his massive developmental strides in Akwa Ibom.”
 
The Commissioner mentioned that Mr. Emmanuel’s choice for the honour, “is underscored by his strides in infrastructure, health, human capital development and unprecedented love for the people of Akwa Ibom State.”
 
According to him, the organizers, in a letter, acknowledged that “the Governor occupies a pride of place among a select distinguished Nigerians who have delivered dividends of democracy to their people.”
 
The HoG Award has been on for eight years, and seeks to encourage good governance in Nigeria, while the HoG Hall of Fame induction holds once in four years, as it takes into account, consistency in delivery of democratic dividends for upwards of three years.
 
The HoG has over the years hosted and paraded individuals like Alh. Atiku Abubakar, GCON; Dr. Akinwunmi Adeshina; Dr. Aliko Dangote; Senator Ben Bruce, among other notable Nigerians.

When last did you visit uyo high school... Are you aware there is not sit in any of the class room provided by government? ...student buy them
