10 million people across several African countries were not sold by their forefathers. Like every society back then, there were wars between kingdoms and yes some of the captives were sold but I'lll be shocked if the numbers were up to 10%.The white people used force by kidnapping and abducting in most cases.
Kings across Africa wrote letters to England to desist from enslaving their people but they refused to listen.

thank you but I still believe that slavery was aided by blacks. Africa as at that time was not developed like this modern day Africa most of the inhabitants lived in villages and hamlets I know where my great grandfather lived it's almost inside forest we used to farm there in recent years. There was no way a few whitemen would know all these villages without the aid of blacks Europeans didn't just set out for war and raiding they started by buying and when they saw how lucrative the trade was and maybe some blacks were no longer interested that was when they upgraded.

Africans actually proved to primitive if you ask me, I say this because the whites black were worshiping were cheated and chased out of Arabia that was what made them set out to look for route to India which led to their landing in Africa and America. The whites felt inferior to the Arabs they merely saw people who saw them as superior and they took advantage of it

No one forcefully took them. Your greedy forefathers in coloration with the west sold them out.

Aside this things are just hardwired into the human core DNA. We will always stratify. On the basics of race, class, gender, tribe, religion, politics etc.

You have read up on slavery my friend. It is too simplistic to say our forebearer sold their brothers into slavery.
Slavery is as old human civilization but it wasn't as cruel as those practices by the white European of the 17/18th century. It was practice on an industrial scale, African slaves were dehumanized using different pseudo-science to make it acceptable.

The slaves were not sold by their family members but captivity of war, the majority of these wars were a result of inter-tribal war instigated by same white European and religion (especially in the north).

Racism isn't merely verbal, the verbal part of racism is not what people are fighting. Racism is institutional, it is a belief that someone is less than human just because of his skill color.

When you are prosecuted by the institution of the state because of your skin color it is as a result of racism

When you at the bottom of the social ladder of the society because of your skin color that is racism

When you are judged based on the preconceived notion that you can never be intelligent enough to live in a society as equal based on skin color that is racism.

Most Nigerians in this part of the world don't know the extends and gravity of how racism as affected black minority in western world
