lack of human value, wickedness and incompetency has made the ruling party not to give account of the real thing happening in Nigeria. all they need to do is to stand against those who are ready to tell them truth for the betterment of our great nation.

You that have evidence of over 3 million dead, post it or keep quiet.

PDP supporters hurting for news of the dead like vultures. Pathetic.

Just woke this morning to the news of the PDP's National Chairman ridiculously comparing about 3million souls that died during the war to Buhari's administration. Not only is it false, it is an expensive joke to attempt by anyone, let alone someone in his position.

It is an abomination for Ndigbo to keep supporting PDP and Atiku if he does not tender an apology immediately. How can Uche Secondus belittle the tragedy of the civil war and piss on the grave of the dead to score cheap political point.

Ndigbo must demand a public apology from Uche Secondus and the PDP so that the souls of the dead will not become a caricature in this election circle.

Toying with the pains of the war is unacceptable and off limit.

why should he apologize? if such speech was coming from the angle of APC no one will say or prove any point from such is obvious truth are always bitter
As an Igboman and someone who lost relatives in that tragic war, I find it very offensive for Secondus to drag it into his petty, inconsequential campaign. It is like someone pissing all over their graves and the grieve of Ndigbo.

It's really pathetic that we have several literates casting stones and making bants at Prince Uche for this statement.
It's even more pitiful to realize that they don't even understand the true meaning of comparison.
He made a comparison to the death toll from the civil war which accounts to about 3m doesn't mean the number of deaths under this lifeless tyrant accounts to same figures. He could clearly be referring to the reckless rate at which innocent Nigerians have been murdered for no just cause but the sole purpose of promoting the selfishness of this administration.

From police brutality, DSS raids, EFCC detentions, Judiciary impunity, military deaths, kidnappers, Fulani armed herdsmen massacre's, boko haram massacre of both military and civilians etc Nigeria has recorded catastrophic deaths since the assention of Buhari into power.

If these series of deaths resulting from multiple fronts of tyranny cannot be compared with civil war then we really don't know what we want in this nation.

Today in Nigeria, Journalists are no longer free, neitjher do we have lost our fundamental rights/freedom of expression and movement under Buhari.

With all these being said, the current state Nigeria finds itself today can be compared to any other catastrophe that has ever befallen this nation.

Hold on to your hypocritic condemnation and ask yourself how many rights you truly have in Nigeria under Buhari.

Prince Uche holds no one any apology.
If you feel offended by his statement, then you have entirely taken his words out of context.

You've completely taken his words out of context if you feel he really meant 3m lives have also been lost.
He only made an indirect comparison.

So in your mind, 3 million people have died under Buhari?

I really pity your life . without be told all this are for wicked , lifeless APC government .

lazy party (APC) who has no positive record in government for four years

APC who has nothing to offer than hunger , hardship and killings across the country

APC the only political party that provides lifeless president

EdCure:
PDP is it's own worst enemy.
The election is theirs to lose and they'll lose it woefully if they continue with these abysmal campaign strategies.

I hope they lose though.

Bunch of mentally lazy slowpokes lacking creativity and bedeviled with poor acuity.
They're only experts in stealing public funds.

Over 3 million lives were lost in the civil war and the guy is saying Benue and Taraba state alone is enough to justify such provocative claim. It is very offensive at least.

And for a major opposition Chairman to utter such, is very offensive for anyone lost a loved one in the war.

@OP.

Bruv, you are wasting your time and should know your people and their bigoted black hearts by now. You are trying to uphold their dignity and they can only insult you and make inane and reta.rded comments. One fool keeps asking how many Nigerians have died under Buhari as if such a figure will be close to that under GEJ they worshipped blindly and who was such an internationally reviled disaster to the extent the USA stopped working with the 'compromised' Nigerian Army under Jonathan and only re-engaged with us when Buhari came on board.

It must be frustrating for you i.e having many unreasonable and hateful folks as kinsmen. Look at how discredited our army became under GEJ yet Igbos worshipped him like a messiah and now have they nerve to attack Buhari who has done more to preserve Nigerian lives and property. Only a highly dishonest and very hateful person, perhaps born less than 3 years ago will not admit Nigeria, to international condemnation, was a killing zone to a degree never seen before under Jonathan and the PDP some are slavishly worshipping today .

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2016/05/16/world/africa/boko-haram-nigeria-us-arms-sales-warplanes.amp.html

The proposed sale reflects the warming of the relationship between the Nigerian and American militaries, which had frayed under Mr. Jonathan. The Pentagon often bypassed Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram, choosing to work directly with neighboring Cameroon, Chad and Niger.

In addition to citing corruption and sweeping human rights abuses by Nigerian soldiers, American officials were hesitant to share intelligence with the Nigerian military, saying Boko Haram had infiltrated it. That accusation prompted indignation from Nigeria.

But that was before Mr. Buhari, a former Nigerian Army major general, defeated Mr. Jonathan in an election last year.

Since coming into power, Mr. Buhari has devoted himself to rooting out graft in Africa’s largest economy.

He has fired a number of Nigerian military officers accused of corruption, and American military officials say they are now working closely with some of their counterparts in Nigeria.

He actually phrased his words in comparison which means he is only saying there are some similarities.
Such as deaths from hunger and inhumane murders.
So it's a mere comparison based on the similarities surrounding the cause of deaths.

@OP

Look at the disgraceful reign of Jonathan, below, that made Nigeria the most dangerous place to live in the world yet those who supported GEJ bigotedly now have the effrontery to be attacking Buhari. Thank God some of us witnessed events live to know Buhari has secured Nigeria far, far better than Jonathan was ever interested in doing.

Secondus the shameless puppet can go around lying while ably supported by his bigoted and revisionist kinsmen but most decent Nigerians have not forgotten what obtained under GEJ and how bad such was compared to life today.

GEJ played politics with everything while Nigerians died. God will not give electoral win, ever, to those who supported the very wicked GEJ yet now demonize Buhari today for no reason other than ethno-religious hate of Mr.President. Atiku will never win so I suggest haters should carry on with their mindless attack on Buhari based on outright lies and a disgusting revision of recent history we all witnessed because that is the only 'victory' their hateful hearts can enjoy.

10 ways Jonathan failed Nigerians

2 Security

This was perhaps Mr Jonathan’s biggest albatross. His administration went to sleep while the insurgent group, Boko Haram, ran amok killing thousands and capturing territory as huge as Belgium from Nigeria in its bid to create an Islamic caliphate. Mr Jonathan only acted decisively when it became clear that the insurgency would cost him votes during the presidential election. In the build up to the elections, within six weeks, most of the territories previously captured by the insurgents were retaken and the insurgents placed on a back foot.

The president also failed to curb the the perennial clashes between Fulani herdsmen and farmers particularly in the north central region.

In Nasarawa, Ombatse militia were allowed to rain terror on civilians. In 2013 over 100 police officers and other security agents were killed in a swoop by the militia. The Jonathan administration, for political reasons, refused to bring the perpetrators to book and those indicted for the killings still walk free today.

The insecurity was also witnessed in the southern part of the country as kidnappers went on rampage abducting people for ransom. Politicians, their aides, family members and public officials were the major targets as the criminals virtually had their way in various states like Edo, Bayelsa, and Ondo State.

Under the Jonathan administration, Nigeria became one of the most dangerous places in the world to live.

Secondus spoke as a guest of ‘Morning Show’ programme of Arise TV, a broadcast arm of THISDAY, and said, “More people have been killed in the last three years than the Civil War that took place in 1967 to 1970, yet we are not at war.”
Above is Secondus comment.

Crystal clear and not really open to nuanced interpretation except by haters of Buhari who are never fair to Mr.President and are ever ready to make or support ludicrous claims against him. No fair-minded person, especially not supporters of the PDP, should be indicting Buhari with lies over the issue of security. Far more Nigerians died under the PDP and GEJ directly as a result of a break down in security everywhere. Did Azazi not tell us PDP was behind Boko Haram? Yet some are worshipping the PDP today and trying to revise history fraudulently just to malign Buhari.
