Akon of Senegal just made tops on the list as African Richest Musician according to Forbes current list.
Don Jazzy came as #4 but 1st in Nigeria. However of much interest is that Wizkid came #7 ahead of Davido who made it as #8 on the list. Thats too much for #30Billion for the Akant. Anyway Congratulations to them.

Common sense will tell you he's richer na. He gets more international gigs. Not just concerts. Private gigs too, he was in Congo Brazzaville this past weekend, and he charges a lot of money for them. Like dt Indian wedding. Dude is hardly in Nigeria sef. At least u see Davido at home sometimes or hanging wt friends during downtime. Wizkid has bn fully booked for 3years.

Apart from music work, He also had pop up shops in London, New York, SA. Has international endorsements with Ciroc, Nike, Moschino. He's getting paid in dollars more than he's getting paid in Naira.

Well David is also from a rich family so kudos to him for being motivated. They're both young rich guys. I don't know how don jazzy made this list sha.

You made good points though. Kudos to them. They're in Business to make money.

Equally wondering how Don Jazzy made that list too. He hardly features as much as Wizzy or David in songs these days but here he is tops from Nigeria. There's definitely more to what he does that's bringing more doe than the rest guys in the industry.

Don't even know why He made the list. True that he is a Nigerian, but he can't be classified as a full Nigerian Musician. Doesn't live here, but since he's of Nigerian discent, Forbes just had to include his name. Will be on the lookout for his music now. Hardly know a song he's sang before.
