Please dear expert, I have budget of 1.5m between Camry 2007 vs Lexus 330 which one is more economical in terms of fuel consumption and spare part affordability? Ur advice is needed. God bless u.

Naija used? Well, lexus will always be better than toyota due to its luxurious nature and fuel economy. Toyota too is very economical with fuel consumption but lacks luxury and balance like Lexus. The ES is a more comfortable cruiser, rides like a boat. Camry has better fuel economy, though. Also, the ES will be cheaper to maintain, the 3MZ is pretty much bullet proof. The 5-speed auto isn't the best, though.

firstly, i have never seen where bargaining is not done in business. And yes, a naija used es330 can be sold for 1.9m. If i buy at the rate of 2.4m, why cant I resell for 1.9m? I bought my car at a mileage of 91k and currently at 105k, as far as am concerned, my car is better than atleast 70% tokunbos out there. Some people buy tokunbo with a mileage of over 180k and atimes over 200k for over 2m naira, if i buy mine at a mileage of say like 60k or 70k and use it for a year and wants to resell it at mileage of 90k miles, what stops me from selling it at a tokunbo rate since its still better than most tokunbo? What has changed? Moreover, how much do you think a tokunbo with 105k mileage is sold for in the market currently? I dont really understand what you were trying to say in your last paragraph, but in the meantime, answer truthfully these questions i put forward. Thank you

1) Engine oil sludge issues.
2) Transmission failure prone.
3) The 4 cylinder engine is not so reliable.

Speaking from a colleague's user experience however, these anomalies were corrected in the '08 upwards.

You aint correct,i use 2007 Toyota camry xle.
Na one of the best cars you can actually buy.
I hardly go to mechanic,unless just bushing and other small small isues at a long run.
