Barcelona legend, Andres Iniesta, has named the best player in history of football.

Iniesta, who spent over a decade playing with Messi at Barcelona, said the Argentine is the best footballer in history.

Brazilian football legend, Pele, had last week slammed Messi, describing him as one-footed player who could not head the ball.

But and Iniesta were baffled by Pele’s comments.

“I do not want to answer what Pele said,” Iniesta, who is now playing for Vissel Kobe in Japan, told Mundo Deportivo.

“But he [Messi] is the best player in history.

“He’s got all the records – headers, skills, right-footed shots [and] left-footed shots.

“I have not seen anyone do what he does and every year he exceeds my expectations.”

Bruv, how can you say this with an honest face? Messi and Ronaldo, year in and year out, have won all top awards in football between them for the past 10-12 years. Achieving that much means he is not only a great player but arguably one of the best ever. Don't be a hater. Give credit where due.
