In the video, the controversial boss said that the organization has set up measures to counteract future hacking of Tesla servers. Anyway he joked that the hackers could be successful. He let it be known hacking is one of the greatest dangers confronting self-driving vehicles not just Tesla. A programmer could choose to play a trick and need to control all self-driving autos and send them all to another city. Anyway he said it will be difficult to hack a fleet of Tesla autos at the same time. Regardless of whether the programmer prevails with regards to hacking into a specific vehicle, there is a catch in the vehicle that will give anybody in the car to "override authority" and he can recover control of the vehicle again before a mishap happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rMA-eVAgzg He said “if the car starts behaving funny or wacky, you can just push the button. It will cut off access to the servers. Then you can regain control of the car. Aside from that, there are some components in the car that has specialized encryption. For example, the power trains, brakes all have special encryption. The encryption will make it impossible for the hacker to gain access to the brakes or power train. Where do I start from?OK d part related to d topic An it guy that works with a business man came to visit his boss ,then saw his boss car (that have this tesla-like system) then told d boss he could help him upgrade the system to like a military type..so he did ... But he could also control everything d system could control(wheels ,brakes,everything) . He almost killed d boss,coZ he liked d bosses' daughter, but las las d boss killed him. even military grade encryption have a loophole with time it we be found, but everything is complete since there is a manual override control switch in the car. |

900warriorz:Well, the main point of my comment was not marketing Tesla vehicles, but of hacking the computer and GPS systems of self driving cars. It was used to devastating effects in that movie and it looked like science fiction. Now we are recognising it is very very possible. 1 Like |
