Small mentality. You are also going with the Nigerian narrative of what has Buhari achieved since he came into office? And what does that have to do with a country's economy. An economy is meant to be self serving regardless of what a president has achieved. What has Donald Trump done for US, Macron for France?Theresa for UK? tell me their achievement!

It's only in Africa you will find people who measures a president achievements by the number of roads, rail line and other shiny things built.

It's one of the reasons why African economies become destabilize during elections.
no need for name calling i wasnt talking about your economy i was talking about what has buhari accomplished and yes african needs roads railwaylines airports and ports to do well economically africa has great infrastructure deficit and we judge our leaders using that so if leader cannot build a simple road in africa how are we supposed to judge him/ her usa has no infrastructure defict there is no way americans will judge trump by how many roads he has built usa has the hardware they are working for better software

Mr Man South Africa is an English speaking country as Cameroon is , you understand my point ?. South Africa gained independence from Britain way before countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda etc. The main language then became Afrikaans and the indigenous languages, unlike the countries I mentioned that have had English as their official language for generations. So it is disgraceful for a country whose main language is English to have so many people who are still struggling with pronouncing basic words . South Africans until today mainly use English when talking to outsiders . Our public institutions as you know ,have everything written in our various languages. I'm not saying we don't speak nor write English but it doesn't carry the same status it does in your country.

Did you just give us advice on tourism ? grin. Dude , stop that nonsense . Mandela is one of the attractions to South Africa as English is one of our official languages. Having tourist attractions means nothing when no one knows nor gives a damn about them, take your own advice and get creative on how you can best sell them to compete with ours.

Ok , I get it. Zulus and boers though seem to be the worst.

Most south Africans find it offensive when you talk ill of Mandela(even though some skeptics find him a tad overrated)so it's better to just avoid those subjects.
Everybody public figure out there is overrated, they look godlike from afar until you get to know them, then you realize they are humans. On the matter of feeling offended; how will you feel if a National figure from your country is called overrated?

those are rights you demand from your leaders things like roads electricity education healthcare agriculture and most african states lack that and that is what we demand from our leaders to provide so if a leader cannot provide that how are we supposed to judge him

Both lion King and Black Panther took up alot from Africa. Most of the names of the characters are from Kiswahili like Simba, rafiki and pumba. The background location of the film is set from the Hells gate national park in Kenya even though some images also showed places what looked like Maasai Mara and Amboseli national park which are both from Kenya as well. There were swahili songs in the movie too as well as songs of SA origin. Hakuna matata is a phrase taken out from the popular Kenyan song the tittled 'jambo bwana'

Kenya's main presence in black panther was Lupita.SA notable influence from the movie was from the language, xhosa and the actors as well.

Marvel character black panther's home Wakanda could be from a Kenyan tribe and located anywhere in East Africa preferably around L.Victoria or L.Turkana.

Black Panther's first girlfriend from the fiction stories has her origins in Kenya. I'm talking about Storm from the X-Men.
Ororo Monroe aka Storm is a Kenyan princess.

Lionessza6:

It's Setswana/ Sesotho. I think we were all shocked that it's also used elsewhere grin. I grew up thinking the Lion king was a South African production grin, probably because of many of the songs and voices behind the animals. I'm sure some teenagers somewhere in Cape town are of the impression that Wakanda is a South African movie because the main language used throughout the movie is xhosa , many of the actors are South African and much of the music as well.

Jonathan performed woefully when it comes to infrastructure, but I will always respect for signing the local content act, many Nigerian companies now own oil fields, Nigerian shipping companies have doubled since. Imagine that! Just a signature on a piece of paper, poof, IOCs no longer dominate Nigerian oil sector.

Infrastructure is overrated, yes, infrastructure is good for an economy, it's not a game changer, there is this African country, in southern Africa, their road network is better than some European countries yet they are still poor.

Now the company jumia is not in the hands of nigerian companies 33% of jumia is owned by foreign companies. The current ceo of jumia holds a number of 17%. Another thing you must look at I heard a lot of the shares I also own by mtn and rocket group. South africans do not make too much of noise.

JESUS ! . Miriam makeba and all the artists I mentioned were already developed artists when they left South Africa, just like Noah was already a decent comedian when he left South Africa. This is totally different from Seal and Sade. Those two people did not grow up in Nigeria , they were not recruited from Nigeria. The reason Miriam makeba and them couldn't come to South Africa is because they were banned from returning because during their tours with the likes of Belafonte they got political and started spilling the beans about what South Africa was about. This is totally different from your artists who identify as Britons ,and who were born ( seal ) and raised in Britain. Doing coloborations with well known artists doesn't mean you belong to the nation they come from. Your P square gained a lot of exposure when they did s song with Rick Ross, that doesn't make them an American product. You are comparing oranges with Apples here to cover your arse grin. You might as well as claim most black Americans as your artists since they originated from that side grin. I won't be going back and forth with you on this.

It doesn't change the fact that foreign system made Miriam makeba, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Hugh Ramapolo Masekela, etc not your Zulu system. Next! grin

The Second bolded shows your gross ignorance or your intention to feign gross ignorance about other Nigerian artists i mentioned apart from Seal and Sade Adu. grin

Now answer this question,

are these Nigerian artists, Babatunde Olatunji, Sikiru Adepoju and Lekan Babalola British or black Americans? grin lying machine.

Come back and tell me who needs an apron for her exposed ....... grin

Now, answer this question before you start hidding with your tail under your belle with 'i won't be going back and forth with you on this' to cover up your fallacious statements that Miriam Mkeba was the first African to commercialize music in Africa. grin

Or is that statement a sign of defeat or acceptance that you lied big time? grin

I trust you will show yourself worthy enough to prove your case. grin

Which year did Miriam Mkeba become the first African to commercialize music? Bhuhahahaha! Answer fast fast. grin

And Can you please explain or tell me how she commercialized music? grin

Less I forget, you asked me which Nigeria artist was honoured ahead those newbies south Africa artists.

Have you forgotten? Unusual of your normal chest beating. grin

Or have you agreed and succumbed to the fact that Nigeria artist was honoured and recognised ahead of any dead or living South African including Miriam makeba on this planet earth in regards to music grin

Show me the South African Grammy award nominees aside the ones I listed before from 60s, 70s and 80s you boasted about. grin

Cure and emancipate yourself from gross ignorance. grin

Music didn't start and end in South Africa. grin

You can see south african companies I invested heavily in technology in nigeria. Both nigerians rich people are still investing in oil because they are illiterates the oil dynasty is over. Nigeria's richest people are making a big mistake because it has no future. Even if you look at europe america and also china they are not depending on oil that much again

Looking at pension assets size to GDP ratio.Nigeria is yet again being exposed. This GDP is nothing but bloated, this fact explains the poor pension assets size to GDP ratio that Nigeria shows.

Well, with the poor salaries that their civil servants earn, you can't expect their pension assets to match the fake GDP they have. No wonder people die at an average of 55 years because people retire while broke with no pension to move them on smoothly with life.

The President of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Abimbola Ogunbanjo, said despite the achievements in the pension industry reputed as one of the fastest growing in Nigeria, there are still a lot of grounds to cover.

He noted that the ratio of Nigeria’s pension assets to GDP hovers around seven per cent, compared to other African regional hubs like South Africa, and kenya, whose pension assets to GDP is at 52 per cent and 40 per cent respectively.
