He never said Laporte was better for the unpteenth time. Someone made a false claim and he used Laporte's stats to dispute that claim. The people saying goals conceded ratio backs their VVD hype are the ones who are double speaking because at that time when Laporte had the better ratio, they still did not accept the conclusion of those stats. So why revert to them now?

He is very much allowed to say Klose is better than Zlatan and in some cases he is right. When he said Drogba was better than Henry, you kept quiet because Drogba was a CFC player - even when you know Henry scored more..assisted more..won more (both individually and teamwise). But because Drogba had more finals goals, you agreed with him.

Now that he has made almost the same argument for Klose and Zlatan in terms of a bigger tourney like the world cup you are asking for his head.

Valdez saved more penalties and one on ones than your favourite keeper (whoever he is).

He was discussing City playing Everton compared to Liverpool playing the same Everton. Stats change all the time especially since City have played a game more.

What if LFC concede 3 against United tomorrow will the stats be used? That is my point.
