If nigeria was better than kenya why is it nigeria's every week are protesting outside the nigerian embassy in kenya 4 equal chance do you see kenyans protesting in nigeria that shows you which country is more important

It's impossible to see a Kenyan protesting in Nigeria. That's way below our standards. It's like seeing Americans protesting in Uganda embassy. Actually there are only two African countries where Nigerians can protest and that is in Kenya and SA. Because those two sister nations are more developed than Nigeria.

Some people are just too sensitive grin.

Yorubas dominate the education sector in nigeria. It's the fact, there is nothing tribalistic there. Just like there is no state in Nigeria where you will not find an igbo man selling either electronics or automobile spare part. That too is a fact.

igbo people do not as a rule open on Sundays, so in North here car and motorcycle owners are always stranded on Sundays. That's how dominant they are.

Southern Nigeria is dominant in Education not just Yoruba

Imo state has the highest literacy rate in Nigeria, do yourself a favour and check the entire list, so you don't sound weak next time in public

That dress is called leso or kanga - and is worn mainly by coastal women - both in Kenya & TZ - although I bet every woman in Kenya & TZ has a couple of them.

As regard the Swahili - I don't think TZ swahili is melodious - the coastal swahili - both in Kenya and TZ is smoother - TZ swahili I find has a lot of bantu interference - where the Ls are just like the Rs.

To be fair to genie, it's possible to tell Kenyan Swahili from Tanzanian Swahili. That's of course if you listen to hinterland dwellers. Hinterland Tanzanians still have a coastal kinda melody while hinterland Kenyans don't. No notable difference for coastal dwellers from Somalia down to Mozambique. Kenyan Swahili is the one with more Bantu/nilotic/cushitic interference. Just listen to a typical kyuk, kamba, Luo or Somali speaking Swahili. They basically apply their mother tongue tunes to the Swahili, which is actually why we have very lucrative jokes industry based on the stereotypes, like how Kales speak swa, etc.

I have listened to varied Tanzanians speak Swahili and I can tell you they have a standard thing. Almost as if they were coached everything from tonation except the L's and R's which they use oppositely or even concurrently to create a very funny sound. Never been to hinterland Tz though so I'm not sure how they tone.

You been doing great in music but you have definitely gotten to a point where your music has become boring n monotonous. I got a lil bro who would kick you in the nuts if you play naija music. Says it's too obvious, boring, bla bla.
Hahahahaha, so Kenyans do listen to Nigerian music after all grin

About sounding monotonous, you are correct to an extent, there is a studio in virtually every corner you turn, anybody with a mic, 50k naira, can produce a high quality music now, so the music space is getting choked up, not like the old days when artists depends on record labels, and record labels signs only those with talent.

Also some don't know the Nigerian music space, so they keep listening to songs that sound the same again and again even though they are from different artists.

For example, heavens gate (ft Lilly Allen), ye, and gbona do not sound the same even though they are produced by the same artist in the same year 2018; burna boy.

Davido ft kizz Daniel one ticket is different from Wizkid's fever.

Same time, Davido's Wonder Woman and olamide's poverty die, tiwa savage's one, yemi alade's issokay, sounds like most Nigerian music. (all different artists also in 2018)

While little known artists like Johnny drille's wait for me and adekunle gold's damn Delilah sound radically different from the norm.

I don't really know how to explain it, but I just know which music/artist to avoid.

Adekunle Gold, damn Delilah

Yes of course Kenyans listen to naija music. We don't discriminate. A few yrs ago your music had taken our industry by storm but now that has died out. So much to the extent people boo the DJ if he play naija music these days. Kenyans hate to be bored. Either you become versatile or your industry will be very short-lived. I suggest you take a look at American music industry to learn. Compare the hip-hop of the 90s n 2000s to the one of today. Compare 50, ja rule, PAC, Biggie, etc to ppl like Desiigner, French Montana, drake, Migos, Cardi b, lil Uzi. So different. You can't keep doing the same shiet and stay relevant. That's actually something our local musicians have learnt the hard way. We (and most normal humans) don't like monotony. Much of your other info was on point. All your songs sound the same.

Never heard the two songs or the artists before. Not bad songs but I don't like love songs. They wouldn't crack it especially in Kenya. Kenyans want to party not to make babies. We can listen to love songs but only when done by Tanzanians who are our local romance birds. They have this soothing thing in their voice.
