A presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu via his official twitter handle disclosed that the president has departed the country for Niger republic to attend the West African nation’s independence day celebration. This however is coming just hours after the vice president’s media aide Laolu Akande shared photos of his principal Yemi Osinbajo who is currently at Europe/Africa high powered forum in Vienna. The presidency has not revealed if it handed over government to the president of the senate Bukola Saraki in the interim. This decision might not be unconnected with the ongoing cold war raging between the APC led presidency and the senate president who defected from the ruling party months ago.
