The Lagos Ibadan railway is being built with borrowed money - why? .. because if that was not the case the NASS would have definitely reduced the funding — same they did for the Lagos Ibadan expressway.

The Mambilla power project (3000MWs of raw undiluted power) is also going to be built with borrowed money or else it would continue to be a pipe dream.

My conclusion on this subject is to call for the the implementation of restructuring of the current unitary constitution being run by the federal government.

I would like to call for true federalism, fiscal federalism, and resource control to be enshrined in our current constitution and implemented.

If the northern region step up their effort on agriculture and solid mineral they can contribute to the federal centre.

They should fully support the call for restructuring.

Restructuring as a national policy is not for a certain part or region of Nigeria.

It is for all parts of Nigeria to get accelerated development based on what is being produced in your region or state.

If a state choose to work harder they will get more money after paying taxes to the federal government.

The present federal structures in Nigeria that is based on the sharing of the money that is coming from one region of the country to idle state is very oppressive.

If this oppressive sharing of Niger delta crude oil money and Lagos state government vat money continue it will lead to the disintegration of Nigeria. As time will come there will be no money to share.

As the saying goes "A stitch in time saves nine"

Do you think that reduction or increase of their allowance is up to them to decide?
If the executive is serious, the allowance will be reduced and nothing will happen. After all it was Obasanjo that placed it where it is currently.

I voted for Buhari in the last election.

Exactly what I am saying. You have not said anything or brought out any point. You are just saying, lookat the budget, study it, do this, do that. You have not said anything worth responding to yet.

I expected you to say, this is the projected expenditure, this will be the effect. This is the projected revenue, this is how much will be generated, etc.

So you have not analyze anything yet. You have said nothing yet. Until you do, I'll keep my peace
