PDP would be wondering when APC would start their presidential campaign. So you think Osinbajo is wasting his time with these visits? APC started the campaign before INEC lifted the ban through direct engagement with the electorate, e.g., via market visits, state visitations and Tradermoni. It is not vote-buying as Saraki and PDP like to delude themselves, but I see it as a dual strategy of implementing a government policy and engaging the voters without explicitly campaigning. PDP would foolishly relax thinking APC is unserious with the campaigns. Look at it, he is also getting publicity without paying for it, e.g., through word of mouth. How much has PDP spent so far on their campaigns?

The egg-heads in APC are smart. Osinbajo is smart. Osinbajo is a likeable guy. Buhari, not so much right now. The vote in 2019 may go to the APC because of Osinbajo. PDP better wake up and sell your programmes. If you do not realize how APC is campaigning, you might lose the elections before the polls!
