Travelers Sleep By Roadside At Abuja Airport As Staff Push Them Out by EmagNig(op): 8:34am On Dec 25, 2018
A man identified as Rotimi has taken to his social media page to call out staff at Abuja Airport, alleging that he and other travelers at the International airport were pushed out in the middle of the night.

In his post, he alleged that the staff at Abuja Airport claimed they had closed by 2a.m and no passenger will be allowed to sleep within the premises.

He wrote:

I thank God for hustle mentality, I have learned to make the most out of every situation. One thing is clear, Nigeria is an Under Developed Country, how do you have an international airport (Abuja) that closes and pushes people out at 2.20am in the morning (Christmas Morning).

People sleep outside on the floor, images most Nigerians will never see, but I thank God for this experience. We have a lot of work to do. #Nigeria

When people call here a zoo, we start talking rubbish. Where else in the world would you get this kind of treatment? Even in Sudan, you can't get it.

Because we have a barbaric President that supports their barbaric ways if not who will dare try such when they know that the President would query themhuh

See how Nigerians are treated in their country undecided

And you think this guy (the presidency) is not a Sudanesehuh

Even when a woman had a miscarriage, it is the President.

Can't you people, at least, think for once!? Can the President be everywhere?! What happened in calling out the Airport Management, the Nigerian Consumer Protection Council, The Nigerian Human Rights Council, and a whole lot of others? But no, because you are so fixated on the President even for you to get your wife pregnant, a very lazy mentality at that, you wouldn't know that all these bodies exist. What a sad reality!
The sad reality is that the airport management knows we don't have a President or they don't regard him!

Did we elect Airport Management, the Nigerian Consumer Protection Council, The Nigerian Human Rights Council, and a whole lot of others as the Presidenthuh

What is his job thenhuh If he is not capable why don't you advise him to resign undecided

The president of a country that is active would have heard or read such news and call those to whom it may concern ASAP!

And you are here making excuses for him

Person wey no dey react when Nigerians are ill treated outside Shey na this one him go react tohuh

Abegiiii! Leave matter for Matthias!

An international airport?

Anybody reading this news that have access to the concerned authorities should please bring it to their notice.

How can an international airport close, have never heard it or experience it in my years of traveling; instead of using the opportunity to present gifts to the travelers in the spirit of the seasons.

Not even Rwanda’s Kigali airport as small as it is closes anytime of the day.

So much for gaint of Africa huh

But I believe we will get there...the upcoming generation only needs to have a positive mindset, so when we get there, we are fully prepared.

God bless Nigeria

Merry Christmas

The worst thing that can happen to a nation is for the people to lack the ability to change their leaders

This is not correct. There was fumigation in the airport last night, people just stayed away for that period.

So because of you the authority should bend their rules. Pick cap, lodge into a hotel and stop all this!

If you don't have sense and comprehension skills, don't comment. International Airports around the world don't close at anytime of the day!

There are no rules there been bent it's the workers putting the Nigerian mentality to work at the airport. So if you don't know what to say, keep shut at least that way, we'd think you're wise

If this was really the case then there would have been a public announcement to that effect, stating when the airport would shut down activities and when those activities would resume. That way you don't leave passengers stranded.
Except of course you were being sarcastic with your reply
