The way many Africans would prefer to leave their country and travel to Europe to help in developing the place is same way Igbo people always leave their place to develop west. I was privilege to meet with an Igbo man who was deputy CBN Governor leaving in lagos in a very huge mansion. The man talk much about how Governmental sided policies affect the Eastern region that lead them seeking for greener pasture outside their region unlike the fortunate regions.

Well it does, Eaterners won't chase you out of your house un Enugu, Owerri, ABK etc. If it pains you too much, hustle and build yours in these places as a revenge.

If my job takes me there, why not?

But I won't stay there forever.

To live an honest life is very good. This picture alone teaches me a lot. I can bet my balls that this man here is over 100 to have been able to establish a business in 1964! But look at him still agile! Most Yoruba youths I know nowadays will rather use their fellow human beings for rituals than work hard and succeed in life like this Igbo man. When they fail and become useless in life, you will then see them on Apapa express way shouting "Owo Mi Da" to survive".

I better be a vulture than ever be an Afonja. God forbid.

God bless Nnamdi Kanu
God Bless Igbo Land
God bless future Biafra.

Most ipob youths would rather go and disgrace us in Malaysia, Indonesia and South Africa peddling white powder. Where they get caught and beheaded.

[s]Ibos should answer these three questions before typing rubish here...

1. will this buz survive this long if operated in any part of the East?

2. Will this old man live this long if based amongst his kindred in the East

3. Why has he not retired to the East considering his old age

Pathetic lots[/s]

We are only interested in Lagos in SW; no man's land because there is where the ports and major airport is in by design to marginalize Biafrans. If the wicked government will open SS and Onitsha ports and airports in the East, you will never see Igbos leave Lagos. Lagos will collapse.

Most yorubas know this and pretend they don't why we troop to Lagos. If the ports and airports in SS and SE were functional, we will not be trooping to Lagos. By the way, we only troop to Lagos in SW.

Keep fooling yourself....Nigerians moving to Europe to help develop the place?....Is it illiteracy that is your peoblem or pure mischief?

How could undeveloped "people" help develop the advanced nations?....You obviously don't know what you are saying.

Igbo's moving into the SW are only exporting poverty to those states...They came with nothing and struggle with locals to share local public amenities, while sending money back to develop their own states.

I don't know what u understand about development. That a country is developed does not mean u can't add value to such country again. Probably you're getting me wrong in your own right way as u may think and I have no problems with that. Merry Xmas.

This is why I hardly lavish a slice of my pity on ingrates.
Your Igbo folks, many of whom are homeless, under-bridge dwellers as it was recently revealed of a sickly old man who has wasted the 14years of his life under a Lagos bridge. His accent and shape of head gives him off as Igbo. Many others are under the employ of Transport Union, shouting "Owo mi da" as their surest means of livelihood. If they don't go shouting at bus stops, their wives and children go starving at home. A handful have found a love for Fuji music, "Omo ibo to n ko fuji" dem plenty for SW.
But in all of these, you don't feel responsible enough to get them out of poverty. All your "God Bless" only exist on keyboard while their poverty population grows in geometric proportion.
As you celebrate Christmas, remember this; 1 out of 4 new births in your region will likely find its way to SW for economic survival.

Ignorance and lack of knowledge, the same mother and father.

Gbajabiamila should go back and ask his elders if they are still living of the first Business Center in Surulere.

1964? Holy Cow!

The first Business Center in that area was as far back as late 50s. Right at Gbaja Street under two buildings facing one another. I think each is about four stories high across the Catholic Church.

Before that, there were private businesses along Barracks and Tejuosho before the Market was built.

Bajabiamila must or should know that or maybe he is just politiking.

You forgot to tell the audience who established this your business center. I guess typewriters and ribbon papers were the main tools of operation.

Many of you are lacking in basic sense and are being stuck in self hate.
Despite abandoning his business and running back home at the height of the Civil war in 1966, he was back to his business being well managed by a Yoruba man. He wouldn't have been close to being this lucky if he had had his business in PH or neighboring COR.
Yeebos came back to SW with their properties intact and that was why most of them never dropped dead of heart attack. Unfortunately, only the new generation of Igbos with potor brain have remained disrespectful and extremely insulting to Yoruba sense of magnanimity.
Insulting Yoruba has been your sense of pride in sharp contrast to your forebears who prostrated before us in appreciation after having survived the bullets of war.

Your handle moniker rightfully suggested intellectual short-charge. In your infinite wisdom, you concluded every Igbo person left Lagos for east in 1967. I guess the real fact will buttress you as tribal irredentist.
