The choice facing us in the next general election is simple and straightfoward. I will use JAMB to illustrate how simple it is.

According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq,

Between 1999 - 2014, JAMB remitted N52 million to FG

Between 2015 - 2017, JAMB remitted N15 billion to FG.

Strange, isn't it?

According to reports there were no record of remittances since 1999 up till 2010, 2012 and 2015. No record of how many forms they sold to candidates, no record of how much they made and remitted whatsoever.

Well, according to PDP sympathisers, since fighting corruption is not an economic policy, transparency and accountability was really a waste of time. They don't give a damn!

Buhari felt something was not right, he replaced the Registrar in 2016.

The Old registrar, from April 2011 to August 2016, JAMB made sales of N28 billion from 6,322,053 candidates. He remitted N50 million.

The present registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, from 2016 to 2017 also made sales of N17 billion from the sales of forms to 3,325,746 candidates. He remitted N8 billion

In 5 years, JAMB remitted N50 million - PDP ERA

In 1 year, JAMB remitted N8 billion - APC ERA

PDP also told us 6.3 million candidates wrote JAMB in 5 years compare to 3.3 million canidates that sat for the exam in just 1 year under Buhari government.

Is it that more Nigerians suddenly aspire to go to universities when Buhari came to power? I don't believe so.

PDP under-reported the number of candidates so they could declare little or nothing in revenue. This is what they've been doing since 1999, and it's the same story in all government agencies before Buhari came to power.

Imagine the amount of money that had been lost to corruption in JAMB alone since 1999 not talk of other MDAs

How can anyone in his right sense then say fighting corruption is not an economic policy. What should be the number one economic policy if not combating corruption. No policy can be successfully implemented where corruption thrives, regardless of how sound the policies are.

This is the choice we face in the next election.

We can either go back to those years of PDP where corruption was the order of the day or another 4 years of Buhari/Osinbajo.

Why not also use statistics of soldiers killed by Boko Haram to compare the PDP & APC regimes.

Zombies are illiterate. When you register for JAMB, all the money goes to TSA but before TSA, only net profits are remitted.

So 15 Billion is the amount of JAMB form multiplied byte total number of forms sold, while 52 Million is the amount of form multiplied by total numver of forms sold minus all expenditures.

I can say for free, if that incidence had happen four years ago, the culprit would be promoted for doing it. Let me also remind you that, her activities predated, 2013-2016.
