PDP should have presented a credible candidate, not Atiku who is seriously enmeshed in corrupt allegation, this is a great selling point for APC,

In November, the Director General of the Atiku campaign organisation, Gbenga Daniel, says officials of the United States have hinted that Abubakar would get a U.S. visa if he applies for one.

"I can also confirm to you that in last few days that there have been signals from the American officials that he (Atiku) should indeed come forward so he can be granted a visa. So between you and I, all the issues are perception,” Daniel said in an interview on Channels Television programme, Politics Today.

Till date, U.S. Embassy in Nigeria and the State Department in Washington have declined to clarify issues around Abubakar’s visa, despite numerous media enquiries.

The bolded indicates that being good at lying is a common requirement to be a member of pdp. Fayose, FFK, Reno, Dino, Secundo, Wike, Dele Momodu, Atiku, Obi and now Gbenga Daniel have all been cought in one major lies and fake allegations or false alarm.

Atiku may not visit US any time soon

Former Nigerian vice president and the People's Democratic Party's presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar may not visit the United States any time soon.

“What will I even go to do in America," Abubakar said during an interview with the Hausa service of the Voice of America.

The opposition candidate is being dogged by allegations of corruption.

He and his fourth wife Jennifer Douglas, an American citizen, were allegedly indicted in 2010in a 328-page American Senate committee report for transferring over $40 million "suspect funds" to America from offshore accounts between 2002 and 2008.

Abubakar served as Nigerian vice president between 199 and 2007.

"Ms Douglas helped her husband bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United States, including at least $1.7 million in bribe payments from Siemens AG, a German corporation, and over $38 million from little known offshore corporations, primarily LetsGo Ltd. Inc., Guernsey Trust Company Nigeria Ltd., and Sima Holding Ltd," the Carl Levin-led Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation said on page 173 of its report.

Although Abubakar has not visited the United States since he was indicted, he has maintained that he did not wrong.

He insisted he can be Nigerian president without visiting America, one of Nigeria's most important allies.

The APC should be happy for Atiku to visit the US so that he can be disgraced n the elections will be a roller coaster for them but ironically the same Apc had to hire a crowd of jobless youth to stage a protest at the American embassy against the granting of visa to Atiku, one then begin to imagine if this impossible US visit by Atiku is not actually a political gang up considering that the US itself has neither declared Atiku wanted nor offered any clarification on the so call Atiku indictment.

Its high time all this leaders stay put in Nigeria so they can work, develop and get medical treatment here. Buhari that have visited UK and US only came back with disgraceful insult from d so called allies 1, That we are fantastically corrupt. 2, That our President is lifeless.

Let's wake up Nigerians, non of this politicians is innocent, not buhari not atiku but d hardship in d country is too much and all started since buhari took over. Pls let's try someone else.

Gaddafi stayed away from US and UK and developed Libya beyond expectations.

If Federal Government cannot sue Atiku and get him imprisoned over corrupt aligations, then they are our bigger problem.
Let's stop all this noise over Atiku being a thieve or corrupt.
If they can't indict him, it means that it's either he is not guilty or he knows the secrets of people in power which may be corruption too or criminal offences.
GOING TO AMERICA DOES NOT MAKE ONE A CORRUPT FREE INDIVIDUAL.
Let's put hands together and get Nigeria working again.

In other civilized society, these allegations are sufficient enough to discredit Atiku. However, in Nigeria, we ignore these issues. Then why do we expect better from Bad immoral leaders? I am not saying Buhari is a Saint too. A man that surrounds himself with crooks and call himself a Saint is nothing but a crook. Like minds attract each other.

I really do feel sad for Nigeria because just a few handful are pulling the strings to keep Nigeria the way it is because a bad Nigeria is good for their pockets.
In other words a man who has massively been involved in high treason should be shot at sight.

Now what crime did/ has Atiku committed from 99 to 07?
When he smuggled suit case?who was the head of state and who ordered it?

Now list Atiku's sin
No wonder Toks2008 called u a part of the indomie generation, i read through your hoey and all you regurgitating is childish poo!

If theres one person that would call Buhari corrupt, it will be OBJ but he never did and never will cos he did setup a panel to investigate Buhari and didnt find NOTHING! I dnt expect u to kno this cos the description by toks is apt!

If his going to America wasnt much of a big deal, why did you and your demented cousins go wild on the false news that he will be heading to America in Nov?

Anyway rant all you may on NAIRALAND but we will use Atikus dirty past to haunt him to political oblivion...i mean even after 2019 elections he will go round taking his posters off because the beating he will receive ehn...
