My gionee marathon m5 shows only 2 bars of network and this flunctuates very often too.My other phones have good reception.Please who has an idea of what the problem could be? |

Hello guys, Please I need ur help ASAP... I noticed my M5 dont bring out audio in any video I play on my social media and music players...it will be playing but it won't sing out. I tried increasing d volume but it will show d last mute level consistently as I tried. Also tried to drag it via d touch screen, it won't increase to make sound. My Whatsapp, Facebook, linkedin...all my social media handles. But when a call n SMS comes in, It rings. I ve rebooted it taya...sometimes, it might just start playing...all of a sudden, it will stop...wahala starts again... Abegi, make u na help me ooo...don't even ve any thought of buying any new phone, coz ds M5 na my machine oo... |

Topmileoil:When dis happens, just play any song with ur music player, pause the song, then put the phone on silent and remove it from silent again. Now play the song again, the song shud start playing out loud. At least this has been working for me. |

pussywounder: IF you put ur phone on 4G only, you won't be able to make calls /send sms. This also happen on mtn too. To make calls, just put d phone on 3G or 2G. |

Drphemmy4u:That's not location at all. It's an hardware issue. Most of the Gionee M5 phones do not support Nigeria Network bands. Your solution is to load custom ROM on the device or tweaking with the phone's board. |
