Sarri néver see someting, with board decisions. Thats why i decided not to blame Conte mainly for what happened to the team last season, unlike many here then.

Senseless coach, who doesnt need a striker and useless board, that force players on coaches.

If Sarri had no inputs why do you think the first signing was a guy he played with at his former club

Conte himself admitted to being interested in Bakayoko from his days in Italy,

Conte himself signed morata for Juventus but couldn't use him

The truth is the are club signings and coach signings at every club

Chelsea have failed to score in three of their last five Premier League games at Stamford Bridge, as many as in their previous 22 in the competition.

lalaboi, about Kante he has grown really well into the role, see how he was intercepting and making forward runs yesterday. He could have scored yesterday if not for the superb defending from Yoshida(which i believe our own Rudiger can never do).
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BikeMan: 12:13pm On Jan 03, 2019
Our game desperately need reshuffling, drop Kante back, play Kovacic and Fabregas upfront. We don't need any stupid backward passes to defenders.
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by patrickmuf(m): 12:29pm On Jan 03, 2019
Away from trolling and banter, why can't Sarri try Kante as DM, Jorginho as CM (Like Xavi) and Fabregas as the AM?
Kovacic isn't too daring and Barkley's first instinct is to shoot after beating his man even if it's not the best alternative.

The problem is that Jorginho is not creative enough.

That's why Fabregas has to start.

in how many of this club have the coach come out to say that he knows nothing about the signings?

Does the coach need to come out and say it before you know? Was it any coach that signed Ronaldo or Bale for Madrid? Pep at Bayern wanted Neymar, Management got him Gotze

Will Sarri say he doesn't know about the signing of Jogginho, or Conte will say he knows nothing about Zappacosta, Bakayoko and Morata?

you are just been hypocritical.. every player in one way or the other stays off football for a long time. It can be injury, ban e.t.c. if we use few players Dy bounce back mantra" then you shouldn't judge any player

How creative is Busquets from same position?

As far as I am concerned, if Jorginho allow us to keep 70% of the game, we just need our forwards to make the difference ala Messi for Barca.

We then need fast defenders to prevent counterattacks from the moments we don't have the ball which is few and far between. The types of attacks we would face from having a player like Jorginho are footraces with our defenders. With fast defenders and opponents not having enough men upfield due to being camped in their half, this can be easily negated. If one striker face 2 fast defenders in a counter, the defenders will win 9 times out of ten.

Take out Luiz and Alonso for faster and more robust options and get forward players who can make things happen when they receive the ball in the final 3rd, and Jorginho becomes a man to build the team around

I don't think he's not. He will be more creative if his first thought is not to give a wrong pass

What does this prove when Emenalo openly revealed that morata wasn't Conte's preferred choice.

Up sorryball.
I believe we should give sarri like 25 seasons to get it right, the epl is getting tougher ya know? We must also sell Hazard and Jorginho. Very important.

Giving sorryball 25 years contract is important but selling Hazard is importanter.

Up BLOUSE

in fairness, at that time Goetze was supposed to be German messi and the next big thing.
Not many people knew pep would eventually ruin him to the point of being a fraud

Kovacic isn't too daring and Barkley's first instinct is to shoot after beating his man even if it's not the best alternative.
Then that won't be Sarriball.

In Sarri's system, the deepest midfielder, in this case Jorginho, is not really there to defend. He's there to recycle possession, detect the tempo of the game and keep things ticking. Defending is first and foremost the job of the five advance players and maybe the fullbacks; they are supposed to press and win possession high up the pitch. If for whatever reason this high press fails and Jorginho is forced into defending, which he really isn't good at, Sarri wouldn't see it as his (Jorginho's) fault, he will just see a failed high press and will probably be thinking of improving the pressing system. He really won't be thinking of replacing Jorginho or moving him high up the pitch. grin

His system, which he trusts so much, is really rigid. If it works, great, if it doesn't then maybe you should give him the sack cheesy

Morata was one of his choices. He has signed Morata in the past and looked forward to working with him again

He can be Brazilian Maradona, The fact was that Pep knew about Gtze and stated his preference for another player which was overruled and given another player.

The point here is no coach will get all his preferred first choice players at a club and he has to work with whatever they get

If every coach got what they want then everyone will have Messi and Ronaldo. Every coach in the EPL will have Kane as their first choice striker

Morata wasn't forced on him Morata was one of his choices, Many coaches will have a list of top choices for the same position

Given Contes history with Morata then he was one of his choices

I want to be civil, but you wont stop forcing one's hand with foolish views.

Morata not forced on Conte, yet Emenalo had to confirm Conte's disappointment.

Emenalo : “As everybody knows in every walk of life, you develop an idea and you have a policy in mind and you have an intent, and if it doesn’t go the way you want, there is some level of disappointment.

But I can tell you today Conte is extremely happy with Alvaro Morata, and I think that is down to Morata and is also down to the fantastic work they do at Cobham.''

A coach didnt get his first choice but got one of his choices. How is that different?
