Here's what will happen , If kept fully charged and not using it for a month no issues will occur . Your phone will start normally may be with a slight loss of battery . If kept fully charged and kept for 1 year, most probably your battery will die.The battery will get dry and shall dicharge other components in the phone too,which may result in short circuit and your phone won't turn on. To be precise every phone has small CMOS battery which keeps the time and date updated and also keeps the circuits alive.After a small service your phone will turn on And charging the battery by external charger or some other device.(for dead battery) If battery is removed and kept for 1 month or 1 year.Provided you keep your phone in proper environment where there is no moisture then it should turn on immediately. If not carbon must have got accumulated on the battery pins or other components. It should start by normal service. And today's smart phone come with inbuilt battery systems.So,you will have to take it for service.If its not turning on by connecting it to the charger.Then battery is dead i.e totally discharged.
