Apart from saving $500m in the Sovereign Wealth Fund and investing another $500m in the Sovereign Wealth Fund, the country’s external reserve presently stands at $35bn, which is the highest in the past four years. According to the President, the Federal Government has saved about N18bn within one year after the establishment of an Efficiency Unit under the Federal Ministry of Finance in early 2016 to reduce wastage, plug leakages and foster greater fiscal transparency.
The Presidency also stopped the siphoning of funds through ghost workers by insisting that all Ministries, Departments and Agencies must be on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System in all tiers of government and mandated the use of Bank Verification Numbers.

Poverty has always been in Nigeria, President Buhari is not the cause of extreme poverty and you don't expect him to just make things better in a little amount of time when he is not a magician. Rome wasn't built in a day. Fighting corruption is a step closer to making Nigeria better and he has done a very good job. Don't deny that and give the man the credit he deserves please.

How about foreign and local debt?

It is only Buhari that make such changes possible, the misuse of public funds under the civil service in a contributing factor to the extreme poverty Nigeria is going through and the past administration never eveb attempted to curb this problem and now the Buhari lead administration has done it. Fight against corruption? ! Please what are people like ,Abdullahi Ganduje, Aliyu Wammako , Rotimi Amaechi and Goodswill Akapbio etc doing in his cabinet ? What about Funtua(Buhari's relative )? How did his wealth come about and how was he able acquire 9mobile and the Polaris bank? Can you answer ? Or what Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose wealth is questionable till date ; what has Buhari done to checkmate his ill-gotten wealth...? Can you tell us
