When the oil stops to flow
Our tantrums begin to grow
The economy given an upper jugular blow
As we stare at the seeds we refused to sow

When the oil is no longer needed
Signs of this currently not being heeded
We are simply laying our bed
To be fed by what's left by those that have fled

When the oil is gone
And all fossil demands done
As renewable energy becomes the one
May we not wonder what we could have done

When the oil becomes worthless
What then is the fate of our Naira
Questions that begets answers
If we ever want to solve this trivia
