Have you ever wondered why no single arrest/prosecution has been made concerning the various jungle justices ever recorded? Have you ever wondered why most times it will be noticed that some police officers were presented while the act is being carried out?
It is simply because the police support jungle justice and I have come to discover it.
The night guards at my area bursted on two shop burglars around 3am today and one was caught while the other flee. The guy was beaten (Reason: To make him take us to where he hid other items: Generator, plasma TV, POS machine, Gas cylinder, Driller, 6 DSTV and 9 GOTV decoders, 2 mobile phones, #5000, rolls of electrical wires and other items he has stolen already) and we decided to inform the police around 4am to come and pick him up. We first called, but they didn't respond before two people amongst us decided to visit the station. The police at the station gave them two reasons why they won't come.
1. They want to sleep as they had been awake all night
2. They don't have vehicle

Fast Forward::::The shop owner got a vehicle for them and they landed by 6:23am. The two officers saw the wounds the guy sustained from the beating and one of them said and I quote "Please I want to address you all, stop beating thieves because when you do, the police find it difficult to treat them; you can simply finish them off (kill them) and we will simply come and clear the body. We prefer when they are killed because you help our job and it is a minus for us"
I felt goose bumps all over my body. And then I began to understand why we have unidentified corpses gracing our streets almost everyday without any investigation. Now you see why the police will be at the site of jungle justice and pretend to do little to avert it.
Yes! I know some robbery victims might want to justify jungle justice on these criminals but to have our security agency support it indirectly is scary and unwelcoming. It's a pity

Demented police mor0ns thinks she is a lawmaker. To charge someone with murder you'll need a dead body and a convincing scientific argument to prove that 'stealing the pant' killed victim with an autopsy report buttressing your charge.

Unfortunately the law does not recognize voodoo and no health facility will sign an autopsy report that says
'Cause of death: subject's pant was stolen".

Abi oo. They could be charged for theft which is punishable by the penal code. But to charge for murder? Habaa any smart lawyer can easily defend such a defendant. If they equate pant theft to murder, then they have indirectly acknowledged that jazz or juju exists and is potent.
Another thing, if u equate pant theft to attempted murder, who exactly is the supposed victim? How do u ascertain the owner of the stolen pant? No tell me DNA analysis cos Nigeria police no get forensic Dept.
