Yes, but the learning curve though.
R is free I think? She can probably start with R after excel.
I've done a few Excel and Access courses.
Do you mind telling me more about R, I know Google is my friend...

I guard my Credit History like I guard my life.

My Credit History has really opened a lot of doors for me.

Currently My Credit Score is in the upper 700's

I remember getting my first ever credit card from Bank of America.

First one was a Cash Rewards Card for earning Cash Back & the second one was a Travel Rewards Card for earning Miles.

Both initially came with a $1000 . After using both cards for a year, I walked into the Bank and demanded to speak with a credit card specialist.

I informed her that I needed a Credit Limit increase on my cards since it has been over a year since I got them.

She then asked me how much limit I wanted and I said at least $5000 each on both cards.

She told me that she would have to call Corporate Office and My Credit History will be pulled.

She put the call through and it came back approved.

I nearly fall off my seat when I realized I now had about $10,000 in available credit from Bank of America.
Please i will love to learn more on this from you or anyone here, in fact am in a fix on how to go about getting my first credit card and kuck kick start my credit history and scores.am just less than 2yrs here in the state and i dont want to bad note i need help my people

It's okay though, you can self-teach the basics. What's plan B?

R is a programming language specifically designed for statistics and data analysis, it’s free to use (open source). There are so many videos on youtube for beginners.

It might be easier for you if you start from page 1. We covered that pretty extensively.

So I've been following some business analysts and I've been hearing that the US may heading into a recession. Any thoughts?

However I may need to update this as there is a new credit system headed our way called UltraFico.

I don't know what to think honestly, but I will admit that I can see some of the signs; increased debt, layoffs, decreasing housing market, etc

you can start by getting a secured credit card or or something like that although I didn’t get my first one like that try capital one I believe they will issue you one and you will build from there.

Its amazing how this thread quietly lost its voice after the Dinald Trump and immigrant brouhaha. The issues are still pending and now Fed workers have been furloughed without pay.
My heart goes out to those folks. I wonder how I would survive without a paycheck. Maybe drive Lyft and Uber grin

I dont think I could do it. 1. I'm directionally challenged so I would never get repeat customers or positive reviews because nobody would get to their destination on time. 2. I drive like an old lady, I'm looking out the window being nosy while I drive. 3. I can be temperamental, so if you get out of line, your trip ends on the side of the road.

How have you been?

Lol, driving Uber or Lyft is not as difficult as it sounds. The Map app gives you a step wise direction till you arrive at your destination. It has been stressful as usual but its life so ibaijt bothered. How're doing?

You seem to be knowledgeable about it. Do you drive for Lyft or Uber? Drivers can make a good living especially in bigger cities. I feel that the driving industry is overlooked as a whole anyway. For instance truckers can make $60, 000 easily and if you own your your truck you can lease it out and not have to drive it personally and make passive income. I read from a major new source that there is a shortage in trucking and that groups like the Singhs have created their own niche in this area. I believe this because the clinic that I work at does DOT physicals and drug screens. About 70% of our customers for these services are Singhs.

I'm snowed in today, I think almost half of the country is snowed in. I went to the grocery the other day and you would have thought the apocalypse was coming bc the shelves were emptying. All that was left of the banana shelf and banana storage was 3 green plantains. I'm not joking.

Wells Fargo will charge you unnecessarily for purchases made with their credit card. Their rewards and cash back program is next to nothing. I have used both, so I am saying this out of experience.

Dude. Do a little work. Just Google "best credit cards for building credit" all the comparisons have already been done for you.

Pay attention to annual fee (best is 0 first year, no more than $49), interest rate (you could be hit as high as 27.99% which won't matter if you pay your full bill every month), cash advance fee and late payment fees.
