Ogunmod farms and farmers’ Academy is a multi-faceted agricultural empire that was born out of the passion for Agriculture, curbing unemployment and food security. Our core focus in this organization is addressing food insecurity, micronutrient deficiency, malnutrition, women and youth unemployment through Agriculture, Agricultural value chain and Agricultural waste management. We engage mainly in:
• Primary production of basic farm produce through our farm and network of farms
• Secondary production (Value-added agricultural products) from our sister company; CATO FOODS
• Agricultural knowledge impartation and practical training through our Farmers’ Academy
• Agricultural waste management through the utilization of waste from crops and animals to create and generate energy and other value-added products such as mushroom, biogas, biodiesel, etc
• Agribusiness and Agricultural produce exportation
• Agricultural consultancy services, Agro-logistics, market linkages, and farm networking
Our activities are targeted basically towards youths, women, young graduates, retirees and serving workers who are passionate about agriculture and willing to take it as a business.
