My thoughts:

R Kelly is a sick man

I don’t consider ALL the women coming forward to be ‘victims’

I can only muster sympathy for the younger, impressionable girls he took advantage of tbh

His reputation precedes him, so it’s hard to feel sorry for some of the women who were still willing to get with him despite his history, especially the ‘mature’ ones at 30+ years of age

Some of them allowed themselves to be subjected to the alleged acts for money, fame etc

Some of those young girls’ parents and family members failed them and are complicit in introducing them to him

The people around him i.e. employees, friends etc who turned a blind eye are complicit in their silence

If the victims were white he’d probably be locked up

The black community’s continual support and protection of R. Kelly doesn’t shock me

I just watched the first 3 episodes of Young Justice season 3 and it's return just continues to show why it's one of the greatest animated series ever. And I like how the show is taking full advantage of it being on a streaming service now and showing the full implications of child trafficking... God I'm happy it's back

I think those responsible for this blackmails are the "me too" crew who wants to have a share of the young man's sweat out of the blue.
Even if all those allegations happened, it was of mutual consent between the two parties.

Let's not act like it just came out of blue suddenly because it didn't. We've known about for years but we as a community(yh i'm Looking at you The Black Community) decided to keep shut until these very brave women took the bold decision to speak up. If Robert commited these said atrocities against my Dog nevermind my Child, Lawd knows I'll be in Jail serving a Life Term.

I don't if you have watched the Documentary in it's entirety but If you haven't, I'd encourage you to do so. Some of the acts He commited could at best be described as Barbaric and Animalistic. How He sleeps at night having commited those Crime against these said YOUNG KIDS(Damn right i'll put that in Capital letters because that's exactly what They were), I'd never know. That Man is SICK in the head and needs serious Help.

I'll end by reiterating the point I made in my second paragraph. We as a community need to do better. We can't keep making excuses for and shielding this monsters and expect results. That simply isn't happening I'm afraid. Let's look inwards and deal with our issues first before looking outwards.

If that alone does not tell you there is something wrong with that Man, I don't know what else will. The only reason He was not prosecuted was because Aaliyah and Her parents decided not to take any further actions. Aaliyah I can forgive as She was only a child but Her parents need their heads examined..

Let's move on to the girl in the video. I'm sure we've all seen the video so i'll spare everyone the Gory details. The only reason He isn't currently serving Pen time for the crime He committed against that Child is because of Her parents. If you followed the trial even remotely you'd have heard the Jurors say they only reason they spared Him was because they couldn't 100% verify the Young Child's identity(Eventhough you could hear Him call Her by Her First name in the video). He has Her Parents and a few members of Her family to thank for that(Some of them actually did testify against Him).

Now unto the Girl's parents. They willingly aided and abetted Robert by refusing to testify in court because they had already been paid. That's unforgivable and just as bad as the paedophilic act itself. I'm confident they'll get their comeuppance very soon.

We can keep going around in circles and keep apportioning blame to everyone but Robert but I refuse to do that. Sure all of these girls parents could have done more to protect their children but remember THEY DID NOT ACTUALLY COMMIT THE CRIME.
