Katsina State PDP shut down the state as it flags off campaign. Katsina which is President Buhari's stronghold was locked down.

The PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, Salisu Majigir who spoke with newsmen, stated that the state is currently facing many challenges, such as lack of infrastructure, security challenges, hunger and the rest of them. Despite the fact the President is from there.

He added that Katsina state is a PDP state and boasted the massive turn out, is a sign that the State have accepted the PDP.
