Onitsha was the only city in the eastern region with a cinema from 1960--- google broadway cinema. Enugu mall is dead, Nike lake is dead, presidential hotel is dead, Genesis cinama has shut down. Every business in Enugu state has either died or is in coma. Enugu state should learn how to develop businesses and stop running village and primitive organisations that end of up dying off. This is why Enugu is the home of poorest people in Igbo land.

Abeg which Enugu mall did you say is dead, the one that I went to just yesterday evening, abi the new mall, that is even bustling as well

80% of businesses Enugu mall have shut down just like Genesis shut down there and left. So what is remaining? Tell us another thing cool

Which 80% of Enugu mall had shut down?

Please tell me one, just one that has shut down, even sef they are opening more, Roban has 2 outlets sef in Enugu, there is another Enugu city mall that its highest investor is SPAR....and also polo park mall....you just enjoy spreading false info

By the way, genesis was never a cinema or shopping outlet in Enugu, it only had a restaurant and they are still open undecided

Stop yapping rubbish. Polo park mall is almost empty right now, Genesis cinema has left, Glo has left among others. Spar is about to close now because of low patronage. The problem of Enugu is poverty. You can't drive a state economy with just civil servants. The state need to attract industries that can stay and employ people. Create enabling business environment for companies to succeed and thrive, because it appears that any business that opens in Enugu shuts down and closes almost immediately it opens.

Oloshi lying liar

Is the thesame closed genesis grin

Enugwu is a glorified village. I don't understand this unreasonable hyper about Enugwu. All Igbo Cities are Pigsty. The last time i came visiting i didn't even spend a week before i travelled back to Israel.

I think you should just ignore that lifeless troll.
He must be a sad little man who feels threatened by the real world and always runs into nairaland to get attention and feel important.
If Enugu was so bad, then why does he and his cohorts spend 24hrs everyday on nairaland trying to prove that Enugu is so bad.
Ignore the thing!!!
BTW roban stores has 3 outlets in Enugu.
Evening.

There's a new one in Trans ekulu.
Along Nomeh drive, very close to Nowas junction, where there's another Genesis resturant.

Opened just October last year.

Here's a video footage i took while driving around Enugu town. I have a couple of them but some turned out not too good. However, i will also be uploading part 2 of the video. I also have a brief video of University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.

Enjoy!

By Nigeria standard, this is the best city in SE. The admistrator in Owerri should emulate and do better, especially on cleanliness!

Nice try, Afam
