without been biased that 2004 sienna is not in the class of that odyssey. It floors the odyssey hands down. The next generation odyssey is on par with the sienna

why will he be dragging road with interstate vehicles? is the road not wide enough to accommodate all vehicles.

If the sienna is common doesn't that tell you something. Even the odyssey of that year should be avoided, gear issues, body falls apart easily, second row window doesn't come down, less luxury fittings.

I'm a Honda guy but the 2004 Odyssey is no match for 2004 sienna. They are not mates, 2004 Odyssey is 2nd gen Odyssey from 1999-2004 while 04 sienna is 2md gen sienna from 2003-2009. That generation sienna compares to 3rd gen Odyssey from 2005-2010, in this case I would choose the Honda because that gen Odyssey exl beats the crap out of the sienna XLE. The 2004 sienna is more equipped than 2004 Odyssey with features like tire pressure monitoring, adaptive cruise control, side curtain airbags, etc.

@nurey, the acute transmission issue affected the 1999-2001 Odyssey fitted with 4 speed automatic. The 2004 model was fitted with 5 speed automatic and the transmission issue was resolved (or at least improved).

@op if u are getting the Odyssey u might wanna look at the 05 upwards, still cheaper than 04 sienna
