Falz's latest song 'Talk' has generated a lot of reactions from Nigerians, with people picking different aspects of the song to analyze.

The rapper was especially criticized for slut-shaming sex workers in his song. He was accused of criticizing women who sleep with men and expect to be paid but having nothing to say about the men who employ the services of sex workers.

In a private listening session of Falz' new album 'Moral Instruction', Falz explained why he criticizes women who have sex and expect money in return.

He said he hates transactional sex which is why he sings against it. He also said that transactional sex leads to the objectification of women.

Falz is allowed to detest transactional sex and sing to the high heavens about it.

And he has the law on his side.

Fighting Falz for his personal beliefs when his album isnt the constitution or a religious manual for living is an exercise in futility and downright bullying.

If you don't agree with his stance on sex work, leave him be. Don't listen to his music.This attempt to censor him is wrong. Fight those who have criminalized sex work instead. I personally don't support transactional sex in its entirety, I advocate for structured sex work because the risk of exploitation is very very high. I perfectly understand why someone would be against sex work in its current form in Nigeria and I support it.
Personally I'm all in for structured sex work. If you wanna be an escort do it right - get a contract! I wouldn't encourage an artist to go sing for a record label without a contract or for an engineer to go work for a oil company without an employment contract. Same way I won't support runs because it places the service provider (be it male or female) at the mercy of a benefactor.

If you want to provide sexual pleasure for a fee, make sure your terms of engagement are clear and enforceable. To have an enforceable contract, you need the law on your side, which is why it is more important to fight those who criminalize sex work rather than those who air their opinions as is their fundamental human right.

Just in case you people are deliberately jumping that part, I will bring it to you: Falz said, "Buhari & Atiku are Jokers and all of you are hypocrites". Of everything Falz sang about, criticizing govt, churches, supporting gay rights etc, it’s the part about “transactional sex” that ppl are focused on. Na wa.

Abeg who did Falz just shade when he said "Take our Offering, Set up Uni and your church members couldn't afford the school fees" ? So falz made an album just to discuss the ills of our society today ther artistes please take note
