You need to go back to 1960s - ramp production of cocoa beans, cashew nuts, palm oil and such easy wins - and seize the global market.

You need start building manufacturing base that can export to Africa countries. You do that by opening your manufacturing sector. Right now you're focused on import substitution. It like you never learnt of 1980s WB/IMF import substitution...it rarely works.

You need to fix the basics...electricity, roads, gov bureaucracies...make it easy for business to thrive.

I can go on and on...but you're FAR from being diversified.

You forgot to say he had to be treated in Kenya since Magufuli would have had him poisoned in hospital had he been treated in Tanzania - that's if he could find a good enough hospital there.
